Future plans

The latest version of the Regenagri Farm standard and related documents will be released in mid-2026. We will then start updating our series of supply chain standards.

The Regenagri Farm Standard 4.0 will include key revisions to improve clarity, consistency, and ease of auditing. The restructured certification framework will closely align with international regulators and better reflect evolving expectations of regenerative agriculture.

It will raise the bar on integrity and credibility whilst maintaining a strong focus on scalability and continuous improvement.

The strengthening of our standards will include compliance with the ISEAL code of practice and registration as an ISEAL Community Member, which confirms our rigorous approach to standard setting and improvement.   

In 2026 we will launch our new digital platform, which will play a central role in the delivery of the Regenagri programme. It will cover all elements of the supply chain including farm data, carbon insetting and supply chain traceability.  

Its carbon insetting module will support brands and retailers sourcing Regenagri-certified materials to reduce their scope 3 emissions.

Following a hugely successful first five years as a community interest company, in late 2026 we will open up to new investors and donors to finance Regenagri's continued growth and innovations.  

This will be an exciting opportunity to invest in a healthy and purpose-driven organisation, that supports the expansion of more resilient farming systems to improve soil health, encourage biodiversity, reduce carbon footprint, and improve farmers’ livelihoods.

Our latest annual survey confirmed a strong interest among our partners for Regenagri to offer more training, information and guidance around technical implementation and market engagement. This is something we’re looking to focus on in the coming years.

We will continue to develop the programme in terms of standards, certification and data-related systems to deliver an ever more rigorous programme, coupled with solid data integrity. We’ll continue to ensure the programme offers scalability, contextualisation and validity of impact claims in line with regulations.

As a UK-registered community interest company, and with many of our staff based in the UK, we are working to engage and collaborate with local retailers and farms to expand our presence here.

We have already started this work, for example, with Oxfordshire-based Regenagri-certified partner, Dunthrop Farm.
