ABOUT

Carbon Insetting Programme

The Regenagri Carbon Insetting Programme and accompanying purpose-built platform builds on our globally recognised certification, offering farmers an integrated solution for reaping the rewards of impact from regenerative improvements made on-farm.

For regenerative agriculture to be a truly sustainable system that can support global food security, we must ensure that farmers can earn a living income to continue their crucial work.

In January 2025 we launched our pioneering Carbon Insetting Programme, an essential addition to Regenagri’s offering. It provides farmers with the opportunity to increase their income, and for brands to claim reduction of GHG Scope 3 emissions.

Companies can acquire carbon insetting units generated by farms within their own supply chains, while complying with regulations and protocols such as the GHG Land Sector and Removals Standard and SBTi FLAG (2026).

The Regenagri Carbon Insetting Programme sits within the broader Regenagri programme, with carbon insetting units coming from farms that are implementing regenerative farming.

By the end of 2025, the Regenagri Carbon Insetting Programme covered 358,593 hectares of land across 8 countries and 5 continents, involving 30 crops including cotton, coffee, soya bean and wheat.

Find out more about our Carbon Insetting Programme and how to participate.

In November 2025 we launched the programme’s accompanying Carbon Insetting Platform : a secure, compliant, and easy-to-use tool for participants to access a dashboard of programme-related data. This includes details of carbon units generated and carbon unit transactions.

All participating companies are listed within the platform, facilitating connections between carbon-unit-generating producers, retailers and brands.

All companies with a Regenagri licence contract can register to take part in the Regenagri Carbon Insetting Programme and gain access to the platform.
